Venteon Finance is currently seeking a MANAGER of SEC REPORTING for a growing and profitable client in Southeast Michigan. REQUIREMENTS of the Manager of SEC Reporting role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
CPA Designation
5+ years of SEC Reporting experience
Supervisory Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Manager of SEC Reporting
Leads the Financial Reporting team in the preparation and timely submission of required SEC filings and supplemental reporting/earnings press releases.
Reviews the Company s monthly consolidated financial statements prepared by the Financial Reporting team (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Stockholders Equity, etc.)
Reviews accounting journal entries and assigned balance sheet account reconciliations, as well as supporting workpapers for the external audit.
Ensures compliance with various reporting and filing requirements
Researches accounting regulations and SEC disclosure requirements; provides technical accounting consultation regarding US GAAP pronouncements and practical implementation thereof.
Leads the team in the oversight of the accounting for stock-based compensation programs and equity transactions (restricted stock awards, deferred compensation, dividend payments, equity issuances and conversions).
