Directing and coordinating the operations and activities of Press and Assembly maintenance / equipment maintenance activities, plant/facilities engineering administration, engineering, layout, design, construction, utilities operation and maintenance, equipment maintenance, environmental and safety. Support to development of cost objectives, environmental and safety programs.
- Manage the activities of the Equipment Maintenance Department activities to support the production and overall goals
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, statutes and codes. Secure all required permits. Coordination with appropriate local authorities when necessary.
- Manage operating costs and direct a systematic approach to identify and eliminate waste through continuous improvement in all processes and products.
- Research and develop new and innovative improvements to our equipment to improve productivity and quality.
- Participate in the interview, selection and training of associates for open positions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Maintenance Management Experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Plant is Required.
- Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting Expertise in a Manufacturing Environment is Required.
- Knowledgeable with Metal Stamping Presses. Welded Assembly Experience is Required.
- Experience with Electrical and Mechanical Systems and Safety Practices.
