Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Logistics Load Planner on a direct hire basis for their automotive supplier client in Detroit, MI.

In-office position.

Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Responsibilities of Logistics Load Planner:

• Efficiently plan and optimize load routes manually, considering weight distribution and delivery schedules.
• Resolve issues reported by drivers and collect COD payments.
• Coordinate deliveries with departments and facilities.
• Assist will-call customers and handle shipping feedback through the computer.
• Collaborate with various teams to meet customer needs.
• Maintain communication with drivers for delivery instructions.
• Occasionally assist in loading trucks.
• Support company goals and initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Logistics Load Planner:

• Minimum 2 years' experience within the logistics industry
• Must have experience with manual load planning.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum of 2 years experience as dispatcher
• General computer knowledge (windows office, word, excel, outlook & misc. iPhone apps).
• General understanding of DOT Regulations
• SAP software preferred but not required
