Position Description
This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Quality Assurance System, ensuring that all processes meet high standards and compliance requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Calibrate and maintain equipment (both lab and micrometers), ensuring all calibration records are up to date.
Verify daily shipping and manufacturing audits conducted by lab technicians.
Track and manage customer concerns
Lead the implementation of Root Cause, Corrective, and Preventative Actions (CAPA)
Develop, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures
Manage external laboratory testing processes.
Education, Experience, and Required Skills:
Associate's degree in Material Science, Metallurgy, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
At least 5 years of experience in steel processing, annealing, and heat treatment processes.
Familiarity with automotive OEM supplier standards (IATF16949, AIAG, VDA, etc.).
Versed with ISO9001 compliance / internal audits
