As a Junior Buyer, you will assist in the procurement of goods and materials for the company, ensuring the right products are purchased at the best price, quality, and delivery terms. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in supply chain or procurement within a dynamic environment.
Assist in sourcing and purchasing products based on inventory needs, sales forecasts, and customer demand
Generate purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing
Collaborate with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure stock availability
Analyze stock levels, usage trends, and market data to make informed buying decisions
Support negotiations with vendors regarding pricing, terms, and lead times
Maintain the purchasing database and supplier contact information
Track shipments and follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries
Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
1 2 years of purchasing, procurement, or inventory-related experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
