Job Description

Our client is looking for IT Regional/Global Lead locate Michigan

Summary:
The Regional Head of Information Technology is accountable for driving the implementation of the Global IT Strategy within the region. This role involves overseeing multiple concurrent systems and technology projects to deliver effective information systems that meet customer needs, adhere to schedules, and operate within budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities:
Lead collaboration with Information Technology Global Functional Leads to direct, organize, and plan Technical Services or Application Systems activities. This includes overseeing staff, service providers, external customers, and user personnel engaged in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining information systems solutions that offer competitive advantages.
Collaborate with international and domestic business and Information Technology executives to identify and develop information technology strategies, standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide timely project status updates to executive management.
Ensure all systems conform to departmental standards. Proactively address deficiencies by directing and planning changes with Global Functional Leads, aiming to develop flexible, integrated, maintainable, and operationally effective systems.
Manage systems development and maintenance expenditures within budget and on schedule. Regularly report budget and schedule statuses to users and Information Technology.
Develop and maintain system implementation plans aligned with the strategic information technology and company business plans.
Collaboratively prepare the annual systems plan with users and Information Technology professionals during the budget development cycle. Review progress against the plan quarterly, adjusting it as needed to match changing business priorities.
Ensure the Information Technology/user plan addresses critical business needs, enhances Information Technology support for improved competitive positioning, exploits strategic advantages, and aligns with Information Technology architecture strategy for data, hardware, and software.
Maintain current hardware and software technology expertise within the project's domain. Stay updated on new development technologies and staff productivity tools.
Collaborate with internal and external customers, as well as Information Technology executives, to drive application systems or technical services processes.
Ensure all assigned projects follow the systems development methodology. Publish and maintain project work plans, providing regular progress updates.
Effectively direct Information Technology staff in the use of our Methodology.
Manage and plan system initiatives for assigned or supported business areas, developing strategic information systems plans in alignment with the company's business plans and IT Global Strategy.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
Master s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant IT experience required.
Minimum of 10 years of prior IT Management experience required.

Skills:
Strong management and leadership abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in a broad array of security software applications and tools.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Proven ability to organize and handle multiple, often changing priorities.
