Our client in the Norma, IL area is looking for a IT Analyst
Our client is seeking an IT Analyst to join its Information Technology team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting end users, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring business-critical systems remain available and performing at a high level.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, supporting a wide range of technologies, and partnering with business users to continuously improve IT services.
Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, software, mobile devices, and end users.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues while escalating complex problems when appropriate.
Monitor and maintain Windows servers, PCs, and local IT infrastructure.
Support manufacturing and business applications to ensure system availability and operational efficiency.
Assist with hardware deployments, system upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
Help maintain system backups and participate in disaster recovery activities.
Create and maintain documentation for IT equipment, systems, and support procedures.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements.
Participate in IT projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to deliver reliable technology solutions.
Follow established IT security, compliance, and operational standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
2+ years of IT support experience.
Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other production-related applications.
Basic knowledge of databases and reporting tools.
Technical certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or similar.
Experience working with continuous improvement initiatives.
Broad exposure to infrastructure, networking, and enterprise technologies.
