HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER NEEDED - DUNDEE, MICHIGAN
A growing Manufacturing Company in the Dundee, Michigan area needs a Human Resources Manager. Preferring Candidates with Plant Manufacturing Experience, Compliance Expertise and Safety Knowledge. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee and manage a performance evaluation process that drives high performance
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Reports to management and provides decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Leads all employee attendance status, disciplinary status
Support all leaders with employee relations within applicable departments
Coordinates Safety and Health compliance with other team members to meet MIOSHA standards
Payroll and Attendance tracking
Oversees Benefits for company and employees
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft based programs (word, excel, flowcharting)
A Bachelor s Degree in Human Resource Management is Preferred
MIOSHA Safety Standards
People-oriented, Detail-oriented
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of driving positive culture change and employee engagement.
Expertise in HR Best Practices, Safety and Compliance.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Plex knowledge a plus
OSHA 30 or 40 Hour Course
Overseen Training Programs
