Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager (Sr. Manager) for a well-established, growth-oriented organization in the Metro-Detroit area. This leadership role will serve as the strategic and operational HR leader for the organization, partnering closely with executive leadership to build a high-performance, employee-focused culture while overseeing all Human Resources functions across the business.
Requirements of the Director of Human Resources
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership.
Strong background in organizational development, employee relations, workplace culture.
Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and HR process management.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Experience with ESOP administration or employee ownership environments is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources
Serve as the senior Human Resources leader for the organization, overseeing all HR strategies, programs, policies, and employee initiatives.
Partner with executive leadership to develop organizational strategies around workforce planning, succession planning, retention, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Design, implement, and manage performance management programs, employee development initiatives, and leadership training programs.
Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance programs to ensure adherence to employment laws and regulatory requirements.
Manage organizational development initiatives focused on culture enhancement, employee engagement, retention, and change management.
Support leadership in safety initiatives, employee wellness programs, and regulatory reporting.
Administer HR systems, employee records, benefits reconciliations, and key HR operational processes.
Support employee communications, company engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
