VENTEON is hiring a Human Resources Director to support a technology company in Farmington Hills, MI. Position is responsible for all facets of human resources. Seeking an individual who can build processes and procedures and take the HR team to the next level.
POSITION TYPE: Full time, Direct Hire, Hybrid. PAY: $100,000 to $125,000 annually based on education, certifications, relevant experience, and skill level.
Requirements of the Human Resources Director
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree is a plus. Accredited HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
Seven years of Human Resources experience working with professional level talent, which includes 3+ years of management, is required.
A person with a passion for Human Resources, who enjoys employee relations and assisting others.
In depth knowledge of Human Resources practices. Thorough knowledge of HR procedures, policy, and Federal, State, and Local laws. Demonstrated success in providing solutions to leadership.
Experience with robust payroll and an HR system, like Paycom or an HRIS system.
Experience leading benefits administration and selection, negotiating employment offers and vendor agreements. Reliable initiative-taker with a proactive and collaborative team-focus
Technical: Microsoft Suite of products, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
Duties of the Human Resources Director
Oversee the development and execution of the company s overall human resources strategy. Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to understand and execute the human resource and talent strategy as it relates to current and future needs.
Direct and assist the HR team with day-to-day tasks involving employee onboarding and exits, benefits administration, recruiting, training, employee relations, succession planning, and special projects/initiatives.
Drive and lead the development and improvement of processes, procedures, and policies; evaluate, recommend and document updates and improvements based on best practices and regulatory requirements.
Drive philosophy and be a champion for employees including employee recognition, engagement, and feedback. Lead the efforts for employee engagement events.
Analyze trends in compensation and benefits to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Oversee the progressive disciplinary process, leading disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Champion our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) efforts including leading DE&I Committee.
Be the subject matter expert in our HR and payroll system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy while maximizing the use of systematic features.
Maintain knowledge of trends in modern technologies utilized in the human resources, talent management, and talent acquisition fields. Collaborate on and manage companywide HR projects and initiatives.
Manage third-party relationships including third-party recruiters and benefits broker.
