Job Description

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to fill an opening with an established and diversified manufacturing company located in Wixom, Michigan. 
 
Requirements of the HR Generalist
  • Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources is preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources including processing payroll and managing benefit programs.
  • Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills.
  • Collaborator who can work well with other functional groups
  • Prior experience with HRIS and or talent management systems
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with Paycor is a plus.

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist
  • Administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to learning and development; talent acquisition and onboarding; compensation, benefits, and leaves; and staff relations.
  • Plans for and manages the performance review process.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
  • Review, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments including safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.
  • Enroll new hire into elected benefits in a timely manner.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Serve as point of contact for 401k plan.
  • Will manage employee-related inquiries from employees and supervisors referring complex and sometimes sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain OSHA logs.
