Our non profit client is seeking a HOUSING RESOURCE SPECIALIST for their office in Troy.
Remote position
6 month + temporary position
DUTIES
Conduct a screening via telephone or in person for individuals in housing crisis.
Assess the caller’s needs to provide appropriate referrals and resources, related to eligibility.
Assist potential program participants in completing applications for appropriate programs.
Enter details of the call into a secure database.
Schedule follow up appointments as appropriate for eligible individuals.
REQUIREMENTS
2 plus year customer service support
Housing experience
Case Management experience
Proficient with MS Word and Outlook & SharePoint
Strong customer service skills & data entry skills
Ability to be empathetic & patient
