Our client, a local financial services firm, is looking for a Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field (required); advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on talent acquisition, development, and employee benefits.
• Proven experience in business strategy, employee competency development, and legal compliance, preferably in a professional services organization.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience developing and managing compensation plans and training programs.

Core Responsibilities:

• Human Resources Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, staff development, and retention to support a positive work environment and client service excellence.
• Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruiting efforts, including college recruiting, screening, and hiring processes. Manage onboarding and orientation programs.
• Talent Development: Create and manage professional development programs, including internal and external education opportunities, mentorship, and goal-setting.
• Performance Management: Develop and implement performance evaluation processes, including metrics for partners and employees, and manage disciplinary matters when necessary.
• Compensation & Benefits: Monitor and manage compensation plans, incentive programs, and employee benefit packages to ensure competitiveness within the industry.
• Compliance: Stay current on labor laws and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
