Global Trade Compliance Leader

Minimum 3 years of Experience in Global Trade Compliance

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Leader in Trade Compliance to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Supplier located in the Detroit area. The ideal candidates should have a strong knowledge of global customs and trade regulations.

Requirements of the Trade Compliance Leader

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field
Operational understanding of global trade compliance issues, including deep experience and comprehensive knowledge of import and export trade laws and regulations
Experience dealing with tariffs
Knowledge of trade agreements and their impacts

Responsibilities of the Trade Compliance Leader

Oversight and management of global trade compliance program
Responsible for post entry functions
CTPAT Trade Compliance renewals /maintenance
Broker management
Development and facilitation of internal straining of departments
Import & export classifications
