Venteon Finance is currently seeking a GLOBAL CORPORATE CONTROLLER for a stable and growing manufacturing client in Portage, MI. Reporting to the CFO, this position is responsible for managing global finance activities including managing the monthly close, monthly financial reporting/consolidation, accounting activities, shared services, and special projects.
REQUIREMENTS of the Global Corporate Controller role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
10+ years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience in a complex multi-site manufacturing environment
Experience leading and managing teams
Consolidation experience, along with FP&A
CPA Designation highly preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Global Corporate Controller
Lead the implementation of a new consolidation system
Coordinate monthly financial reporting and consolidation process
Prepare monthly statements for review with senior management team
Optimize global reporting activities
Manage the monthly close process on a global basis
Manage the global Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, & Payroll activities
Direct the revenue accounting team
Establish global accounting standards
Investigate technical US GAAP issues as required
Audit internal controls to ensure adequacy and compliance
Coordinate the global review and consolidation of the annual budget and forecasts
Manage performance management process for all locations and corporate departments
Improve FP&A reporting and tools
