Venteon Finance is currently seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Sr. Accountant for a leading manufacturing company located in the Ann Arbor area. This position will be responsible for overseeing the management of fixed assets within the Americas region ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Requirements of the Fixed Asset Sr. Accountant
Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in fixed asset management and accounting required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Oracle software is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Fixed Asset Sr. Accountant
Maintain and update the fixed asset register for all assets in the Americas region.
Conduct regular physical asset verifications and reconcile with accounting records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies related to fixed assets.
Assist in obtaining and maintaining fixed asset incentives.
Generate periodic reports on fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditures.
Collaborate with the Finance team in preparing financial statements and reports related to fixed assets.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the annual capital budget.
Present capital budget status updates to the executive leadership team.
