VENTEON / Harvard Resource Solutions is hiring a SAGE INTACCT ANALYST to assist a company in completing an accounting system software conversion.
POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Hybrid. Minimum 3-4 Month Contract. 30 hours pr week PAY: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.
Requirements of the Sage Intacct Analyst:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT desirable. Knowledgeable in GAAP.
Understanding of Finance and Accounting. (Knowledge of A/P, A/R, Payroll, General Ledger, Month end close, Financial reporting processes).
Strong financial data analysis, IT, and reporting skills.
Ability to understand, analyze and document processes.
Experience providing support for software migration required. Effective communication skills.
Strong technical skills with Sage Intacct Cloud based software are required.
Ability to join the project quickly (by end of January) and see it through to completion.
Duties of the Financial / Accounting Analyst: Manage software conversion in progress. The company is almost complete with accounting software migration number one and now needs to handle the same accounting software migration with a sister company.
Writing work instructions.
Customizing reports and developing dashboards.
Troubleshooting when the finance teams have issues or questions. Providing suggestions for the best method of using the functionality to accomplish desired outcomes.
Take part in the testing phase for Sage Intacct conversion. Analyze migrated data for complete accuracy.
Make recommendations and track changes.
Provide instruction and documentation for the accounting team on how to generate reports and data in the new system.
Training the team members on a one on one basis with their specific areas.
Provide post implementation support.
Work towards completing project goals on time.
