VENTEON Finance is hiring a FINANCIAL / ACCOUNTING ANALYST to assist an engineering company in completing an accounting system software conversion.
POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Hybrid. 3-4 Month Contract PAY: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Requirements of the Financial / Accounting Analyst:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT desirable. Knowledgeable in GAAP.
5+ years of work experience in finance and accounting. Strong financial data analysis and reporting skills.
Ability to understand, analyze and document processes.
Experience providing support for a software migration required. Effective communication skills.
Strong technical skills with Sage Intacct Cloud based software are required.
Ability to start the project quickly and see it through to completion.
Duties of the Financial / Accounting Analyst:
Reviewing and understanding the finance and accounting reports that come standard in Sage Intacct.
Comparing Sage Intacct data and standard reports to what is currently being used in Great Plains/MS Dynamics system.
Map the differences in accounting systems data.
Understand current accounting processes and what changes may need to be made to provide data needed to support the new financial reporting system.
Customizing the reports in the new system.
Take part in the testing phase for Sage Intacct conversion. Analyze migrated data for complete accuracy.
Recommend and track changes.
Provide instruction and documentation for the accounting team on how to generate reports in the new system.
Finance and Accounting duties as assigned.
