Venteon Finance is seeking a Financial Analyst for a professional services client located in Troy. 

Requirements of the Financial Analyst

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, required, and 3 -5 years related experience in a professional services or public accounting setting (CPA preferred)

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst

• Regularly update the Member compensation master files with new information and conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy
• Perform monthly balancing of Member-related g/l accounts (draws, capital, AR, NP, etc.)
• Prepare journal entries for various transactions, including Member-related reclasses and monthly Member benefits
• Calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual Attorney incentives and distributions
• Calculate annual Member, Attorney, and Staff profit sharing contributions
• Calculate annual capital contributions based on determined requirements
• Prepare Member departure reports
• Lead  preparation of the annual budget for Member compensation and related accounts
• Review and summarize letter agreements for lateral Attorneys
• Summarize annual statistical information for Paralegal performance reviews
• Calculate annual Member fringe benefit chargeback
• Calculate semi-annual Member interest on capital and notes payable payments with interest
• Compile year-end compensation packages for each Member
• Assist Accounting Team Leadership and Firm Management with other ad hoc reporting and projects.
