Our client is looking for an ERP Consultant (P21) located in Metro Detroit
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) Consultant to support and optimize an existing implementation. This consultant will collaborate closely with internal teams and the implementation partner to refine processes, resolve issues, and ensure the system is fully aligned with business needs across departments such as sales, operations, finance, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide post-implementation support and subject matter expertise for the Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and inefficiencies.
Optimize workflows, system configurations, and data integrity based on evolving business requirements.
Act as a liaison between internal teams and the implementation partner to ensure smooth communication and effective follow-through on enhancements or changes.
Assist with user training, documentation, and change management to promote adoption and maximize value from the ERP investment.
Support report development, dashboard creation, and ad hoc data analysis using P21 tools and SQL.
Monitor ongoing system performance and recommend improvements to enhance usability and operational efficiency.
Stay informed on Prophet 21 updates, patches, and best practices to help guide continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21, ideally supporting or optimizing live environments.
Strong understanding of ERP processes within a distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports, and ERP reporting tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to manage priorities independently and work in a consultative role.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting a live Epicor P21 system alongside an implementation partner.
Familiarity with data validation, cleanup, and ongoing maintenance post go-live.
Knowledge of business process mapping and systems integration concepts.
Prior experience in end-user training and change management initiatives.
