Job Description

Venteon Finance is currently seeking an EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST for a dynamic and rapidly growing company in Southfield, Michigan. This position is responsible for promoting team member welfare, including resolving employee relations issues and managing day-to-day HR functions.

REQUIREMENTS of the EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECILAST role

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, or business related field
  • 2+ years of Employee Relations experience
  • PHR or SPHR designation preferred
  • Thorough understanding of HR related functions

RESPONSIBILITIES of the EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST

  • Provide support in handling and assisting management and team members with team relations issues
  • Advise and educate management on HR policies, procedures, and legal updates
  • Document important conversations and team member performance trends
  • Provide counseling, review and conduct all disciplinary actions, including terminations.
  • Investigate charges of alleged discrimination or harassment
  • Administer exit interviews; assess findings and identify trends.
