Job Description

Our client is looking for a Director of Digital in the Metro Detroit area. 

 

Role Overview:
Lead and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and support organizational growth. Oversee digital banking platforms, payments systems, risk management, and team development to drive operational excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and meet strategic goals.

  • Evaluate technology use across operations and recommend enhancements for growth.

  • Oversee digital and mobile banking services, ensuring performance, functionality, and vendor alignment.

  • Manage debit/credit card programs, digital wallets, ACH, and third-party payment providers; recommend improvements based on trends and data analysis.

  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to manage systems, security, and product configurations.

  • Act as business lead for projects related to digital banking and operations; conduct ROI analyses and ensure successful implementation.

  • Ensure documentation and workflows for all applications are current and accurate.

  • Lead, coach, and develop operations and digital teams; set clear expectations and provide ongoing performance feedback.

  • Oversee risk management, audit programs, and vendor assessments; report findings to senior leadership.

  • Develop and deliver compliance and risk training across the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 5 10 years of related experience, preferably in financial services.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Expertise in project, change, and vendor management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Skilled in data analysis, KPI reporting, and executive-level presentations.

  • Experience with mobile/online banking platforms and enterprise-level initiatives.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of Symitar and experience in scaling operations for growth.
