Responsibilities of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant
- Manage Intercompany Transactions and Intercompany Reconciliations & Eliminations Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year end close process.
- Support Month End and Year End Close Processes
- Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance Support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams.
- Facilitate Audit and Compliance Efforts Provide audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Contribute to ERP Implementation Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes.
- Develop and Maintain Standard Procedures Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for intercompany accounting activities to promote consistency and efficiency.
- Support Public Company Readiness Assist in building scalable intercompany processes, controls, and documentation to support public company reporting requirements.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of intercompany accounting and close processes.
