Job Description
Venteon Finance is currently seeking a CORPORATE CONTROLLER for a dynamic and growing client company located in the Southeast Michigan. The Corporate Controller will be a key part of the finance leadership team acting as a business partner to implement best practices across the organization.REQUIREMENTS of the Corporate Controller role- CPA Designation
- 15+ years of progressive professional experience
- Multi-Location experience in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to interact at all levels of an organization
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Corporate Controller
- Manage all accounting operational functions such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax compliance, and revenue recognition
- Provide best in class guidance on integration of future acquisitions
- Develop and refine accounting practices to ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Evaluate and enhance the system of internal controls to ensure assets are appropriately protected
- Improve cash flow forecasting in the short and long term
- Manage debt and line of credit activity and compliance
- Lead insurance renewal process, as well as any claims to successful completion
- Act as a key point of contact with our private equity owner
- Lead all aspects of engagement with external auditors and tax advisors
- Support all communications with external debt and equity lenders
