Our client is currently searching for a Controls Project Engineer with experience in facilities & automation electrical systems, Allen Bradley PLC's and a knowledge of General Assembly conveyors. This is a 12 month contract-to-direct opportunity working for our client in Troy, MI.
SUMMARY
This person will be overseeing the Electrical Contractors working onsite at an automotive assembly plant ensuring that the project is being done according to specifications, according to schedule and within budget. Should have experience managing or working with electricians and electrical contractors in an automotive plant environment. Any skills in programming or writing code is a plus but this is more of a position where you will be doing project management. Any experience with paint systems process controls is a plus.
Prefer a degreed electrical engineer with 5-10+ years of experience working in an automotive assembly plant but will consider all levels of education and experience.
