VENTEON is hiring a CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR to provide support in Bingham Farms, MI. Assist a busy construction company in entering legal contracts into the system and managing adherence to them. In addition, supporting the needs of the Accounts Payable department relevant to the information in the contracts.
POSITION TYPE: Part Time, 3-4 days per week. Onsite. PAY: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
Requirements of the Construction Contract Administrator:
Degree nice to have but not required. Previous work experience in a corporate environment is required.
Knowledge and direct experience supporting the construction industry is required.
Past work experience that includes receiving, analyzing, and pulling legal and logistical details for commercial construction contracts.
Able to track and manage contract and subcontract information and deal with Contractors/Subcontractors to receive and provide information.
Complete understanding of construction draws processing for accounting.
Duties of the Construction Contract Administrator:
Utilizing appropriate subcontract template to create subcontract based on approval from estimator/project manager and owner.
Ensure information provided by estimator/project manager on exhibits is accurate and complete (job name, number, cost, category, sub info) and within budget.
Ensure subcontract information is accurately completed in Procore prior to release for execution. (job number, subcontract number, vendor name, amount, etc.)
Tracking and reviewing contract status (released for signature via DocuSign, follow up on execution if needed, ensure no alterations from copy sent out without prior approval, etc.).
Ensuring COI and W-9s are returned with executed contracts (specifically for new vendors) and COI meets our minimum requirements.
Updating contract status in Procore.
Completing and providing check request forms to accounting, with appropriate backup, for subcontracts or POs with deposits.
Creating jobs in Yardi for new projects and loading the appropriate budget template.
Pushing retail subcontracts from Procore to Yardi via ERP integration function.
Data entry of office project subcontracts into Yardi.
Send out notifications of subcontract terminations and defaults.
