BASIC FUNCTION

Coordinate installations of automation and specialized equipment as well as special projects. Provide troubleshooting, analytical and preventive maintenance support for electronic and electrical controls on equipment for the plant. Program and maintain robotic software systems. Participate in tests, trials and new launches of products. Supervise the electrical maintenance staff and function.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Coordinate the installations of automation equipment for new products and launches.
• Participate in projects, trials and tests to optimize productivity and explore the feasibility for new business products.
• Contribute to the planning stages and work with plant staff, contractors and corporate representatives to achieve objectives.
• Work with local AB RS Logix PLC and related equipment.
• Work with an automation integrator to implement automation projects within in the plant.
• Order specified PLC and electrical components, follow schematics and install HW/wiring IAW schematics and work to local electrical codes.
• Work with various software such as Windows environments, flextime databases, changing HMI screens, etc.
