Venteon Finance has been engaged by a growing, Private Equity backed service industry client, on a search for their next Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will combine hands-on financial control, with the strategic judgment to serve as a trusted long-term advisor to the CEO, sponsor, and board.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS for the Chief Financial Officer role
Minimum of 10+ years of Financial Leadership experience
Prior CFO level experience preferred
Previous PE backed, multi-entity company background preferred
Strong Treasury / Cash Management, along with Debt Covenant Compliance
Experience supporting M&A and Integration activities
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Chief Financial Officer role
Serve as the CEO's key financial partner in setting and executing the platform's strategic and growth plans
Own the company's capital structure, financing strategy, and long-range financial planning
Evaluate and support M&A, add-on acquisitions, and other growth initiatives, including diligence and integration
Own weekly and rolling cash forecasting across all four operating businesses, and lead ongoing working capital and liquidity discipline as a standing practice
Maintain a clear, current view of cash position and risk for the CEO, Board, and sponsor on an ongoing basis
Own ongoing covenant compliance reporting under the credit agreement and serve as the primary point of contact for lenders
Proactively flag covenant or liquidity risk with enough lead time for the business to respond strategically
Own the monthly consolidated close process across all four operating businesses, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement
Design, implement, and strengthen financial systems, internal controls, and reporting infrastructure to scale with the business
Build, lead, and develop the finance organization
Prepare and deliver board and PE sponsor financial reporting packages on an ongoing basis
Partner with the CEO and sponsor on long-term value-creation planning
