Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Cash Manager for a leading manufacturing company located in the metro Detroit area. The Cash Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimizing cash flow, ensuring liquidity, and implementing effective cash management strategies to support our manufacturing operations.
Requirements of the Cash Manager
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Additional certifications (e.g., CTP) is a plus.
Proven experience as a Cash Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in financial modeling and cash flow analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems and treasury management software.
Responsibilities of the Cash Manager
Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts to ensure the availability of funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
Analyze historical cash flow patterns and collaborate with various departments to anticipate future cash needs.
Monitor daily cash balances and execute transfers between accounts as needed to maintain optimal liquidity.
Evaluate short-term and long-term cash needs, considering factors such as production cycles and capital expenditure requirements.
