CNC Programmer

Minimum 5 Years experience in CNC Programming

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to fill an opening with a Supplier located in Metro Detroit, MI. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in CNC Programming and ideally with MasterCAM.

Requirements of the CNC Programmer

Experience programming Fanuc Controls in MasterCAM
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision machining environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming languages, such as G-code and M-code.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for program generation, such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.

Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer

CNC Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs for a variety of machines, including mills, and lathes, using industry-standard software and programming languages.
Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create CNC programs that meet dimensional and quality requirements.
Tool Selection: Determine appropriate cutting tools, toolpaths, and machining techniques to achieve optimal machining results.
Machine Setup: Assist in the setup and calibration of CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and tooling changes.
