Job Description
Venteon Finance is currently seeking a BUDGET AND FORECASTING ANALYST for a dynamic and stable company in Detroit Michigan. This position is responsible for evaluating, coordinating, reporting, and presenting on the annual budget and forecast activitiesREQUIREMENTS of the Budget and Forecasting Analyst role- Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years of experience in Finance / FP&A
- Financial Modelling skills and experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and abilities
- Understanding of Accounting
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Budget and Forecasting Analyst role
- Conducts management reporting and analysis, including, but not limited to actual to budget forecast reporting, management presentations, variance explanations, responses to holding company inquiries, develop ratio reports and trend reports
- Coordinates Consolidated Annual Budget and Forecasting Activities
- Coordinates Consolidated Five-Year Plan and enters into corporate model
- Updates Model for Preparation and Analysis of Budgets and Plans including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Works closely with accounting, asset management, operations, and other teams to make required forecasting and modeling process changes
- Works on special projects, which may include conducting review and studies and developing productivity statistics
- Performs all other related duties as assigned
