VENTEON / Harvard Resource Solutions is hiring an Accounting Specialistor Bookkeeper to provide support for a group of companies in Midland, MI. You will support a Senior level Accountant in completing transactional tasks such as Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll and support month end close activities.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. Contract-to-Hire, In Office, Immediate work. PAY: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
Requirements of the Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper:
High School diploma required. Some college classes in Accounting would be helpful.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in Accounting that includes AP and AR.
Good written and oral skills. Precision with numbers.
Technical capability with MS Office and QuickBooks.
Duties of the Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper:
Manage daily financial transactions and maintain financial records.
Receive and retrieve vendor invoices needing payment, Apply proper expense codes and enter into the system. Assist in the payment process checks , ACH, wires).
Generate bills for labor, parts and services.
Reconcile and pay expense reports.
Process company payroll (via 3rd party DM Payroll system).
Provide support for vendor, customer, and employee payroll questions.
Reconcile account differences. Generate credit/debit memos when needed.
Assist in preparing financial reports and processing month end closing.
Support related accounting tasks.
