Position Overview:
Our construction client in Pontiac is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Review billing data for completeness and resolve discrepancies
Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding billing inquiries
Maintain organized billing records and documentation
Assist with basic administrative and accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
1+ years of billing or related experience required
Construction industry experience preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially email correspondence)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Solid math and problem-solving skills
