Our client, a leading CPA/Business Consulting firm, is seeking to add an Assurance Manager to their dynamic team within the non-profit sector. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base including organizations in advocacy, arts & culture, education, health services, and many others.
This position is Hybrid and local to SE Michigan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build internal relationships to promote teamwork and collaboration.
Provide exceptional client service.
Contribute to the success of clients' organizations by managing complex audits.
Research technical issues encountered during audits and present findings to client leadership.
Provide direction and challenges to team associates, fostering their professional development.
Mentor associates as they progress in their careers.
Participate in business development activities to acquire new clients.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
5+ years of relevant assurance experience in public accounting or industry.
CPA license is required.
Exceptional client service and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for coaching others and recognizing great work product.
Commitment to continuous learning and development.
