Venteon Finance is currently seeking an ASSISTANT CONTROLLER for a stable manufacturing client located in Plymouth, MI. The Assistant Controller will support the Director of Finance for North America to manage Financial and Activities.
REQUIREMENTS of the Accounting Manager role
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Spanish language skills / proficiency
5+ years of experience with General Ledger activities
Manufacturing industry experience plant level exposure preferred
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Willingness to travel quarterly to Mexico
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Assistant Controller
Lead in Sales Volume & Margin analysis and reporting
Assist in coordinating and managing month-end close processes
Analyze and report on prepaid tooling and guarantee cost & revenue recognition is in line with IFRS.
Lead in keeping track of Capex: create/maintain projects, forecast & depreciation.
Support of finance director during budget
Perform reconciliations for the US and Mexico company
Responsible for the general ledger bookkeeping for the US entity: reviewing entries for accuracy and completeness, payments, and control of all the expenses.
