Venteon and Harvard Resource Solutions is hiring an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE DEDUCTIONS ANALYST to support a niche manufacturer in downtown Ann Arbor, MI. POSITION TYPE: Full time. Mostly in office (M/T/W/Th in office) Friday only remote. Direct Hire. PAY: $ 60,000 - $68,000 annual
Requirements of the Accounts Receivable Analyst
Associate Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, cash application and AR Analysis.
Experience in researching, analyzing, and resolving payment deductions is required.
Highly analytical mindset. Able to reconcile account balances and payment differences, apply debits/credits, reinvoice and follow up for payment.
Technical: Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel, Accounting systems (SAGE or Microsoft Dynamics highly preferred). Crystal Reports experience a plus.
Experience working in manufacturing or retailer web portals is required.
Duties of the Accounts Receivable Analyst The AR Analyst will be responsible for analyzing short payments across multiple manufacturing facilities.
Assist in daily sales order batch closing.
Apply daily cash payments to customer accounts.
Handle daily maintenance of customer payment deduction claims in multiple web portals.
FOCUS: Reconcile payment differences (Deductions). Resolve discrepancies. Work with the sales team to resolve issues surrounding pricing or discounts offered. Process credits/debits as needed to ensure accurate account balances. Reinvoice in portals and follow up on payment.
Ensure all cash transactions are accounted for during the month end close process.
