We are hiring a temporary AR COLLECTIONS ANALYST to provide support in Wixom. You will assist a software engineering company in collecting outstanding payments.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. 3-4 month project. Hybrid work environment. PAY: $25.00-$32.00 per hour.
Requirements of the AR Collections Analyst:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience generating complex invoices for the manufacturing industry (Automotive, Aerospace, or Industrial) is required.
Able to read and understand detailed purchase orders and determine all necessary invoice fields required for payment.
Experience navigating web portals to submit invoices, obtain purchase orders, obtain payment remittances, and assess payment status needed.
Research, analysis, and account reconciliation skills are needed.
Previous experience working with a medium to large sized ERP system.
Software skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). D365 Skills are a major plus.
Duties of the AR Collections Analyst:
Review Accounts Receivable aging for accounts with overdue payments. Analyze and prioritize accounts requiring immediate action.
Review account notes and activities.
Reconcile the outstanding balance on the account and the accuracy of the unpaid invoices. Work to correct any invoice errors or add any missing information. Resubmit corrected invoices.
Ensure purchase orders have balance available needed to obtain payments. If not, inform and take action to increase purchase order balance or obtain a new purchase order.
Utilize multiple web portals to obtain purchase orders and PO extensions, submit invoices to be paid, assess payment status and download payment remittance details.
Work with the internal accounting team and sales to get questions answered and escalate issues with a high level of concern.
Bring Accounts Receivable collections back up to date for the company.
