VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT to complete a project in Detroit, MI. Person will engage current suppliers to obtain updated banking information.
POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Hybrid. Approximately 3-month contract PAY: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Assistant:
High School diploma is required.
Previous work experience performing accounts payable activities such as processing invoices and vendor payments.
High level of accuracy in data entry.
Experience working in internet banking portals.
Trustworthy individual who has worked with highly confidential information.
Good analysis skills, able to catch and correct errors.
Ability to start quickly. Willing to see the project through to completion.
Duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant:
Determine which suppliers are not currently set up to receive EFT (Electronic) payments.
Reach out (via email and phone) to vendors to obtain their current banking details.
Data entry of EFT information into two ERP systems.
Login to banking website and perform a banking data verification process to ensure details provided were accurate and payments will be able to clear.
Advise manager of issues needing support.
Perform as a backup to the Accounts Payable department assisting in the processing of supplier invoices.
