Venteon Finance is currently seeking an ACCOUNTING MANAGER for a stable client located in Troy, MI.
REQUIREMENTS of the Accounting Manager role
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years of strong experience in general ledger and month-end close processes.
Proficiency in borrowing base calculations.
Prior experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Accounting Manager
Ownership of the month-end close process
Prepare and review account transactions, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain accurate ledgers.
Manage borrowing base calculations and related financial activities.
Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Eventually take on oversight of the A/P and A/R functions.
