Venteon is currently seeking an Accounting Manager.The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company s overall financial success.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for various accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, revenue, expense, and asset accounting, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. Evaluates and makes improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations. Leads and directs accounting professional and support staff
Requirements of the Accounting Manager
Bachelor s degree in accounting, MBA or Master of Accountancy is a plus
CPA is preferred
Minimum 5 years combined accounting experience in public accounting and private industry in a senior accounting or accounting leadership role
Supervisory experience is a plus as this position will lead or otherwise mentor accounting staff

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
general ledger entries and reconciliations
revenue and expenditure variance analysis
bonus calculations
fixed asset activity
treasury functions
cash forecasting
debt activity
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
Ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation
Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger and financial reporting structure
Collaborate with the Controller to support overall department goals and objectives.
Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year end audit
Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
Support Controller with ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, and workflow process improvements
Maintain accounting controls by enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, principles, and procedures
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
