Accounting Manager with 2+ Years Experience in a Multi-client Accounting Environment Our client, with over 30 years of market presence, is on the lookout for an experienced Accounting Manager for their operations located in Northville, MI. This role will oversee the efficient functioning of the accounting team and ensure the delivery of outstanding professional services to our small business clients.
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
Degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years' recent engagement with small businesses while working in an accounting environment.
At least 2 years of leadership experience with small to medium-sized groups.
Holding a CPA and/or CMA credential is preferred, but not required.
Skilled in using QuickBooks and MS Office Suite; experience with Thomson Reuters tools would be an advantage as well.
Proven ability in conveying and breaking down financial data to clients.
Familiarity with sales tax and associated filings.
Must possess authorization to work in the US.
Duties of the Accounting Manager:
Oversee a premier group of accountants, cultivate enduring client relationships, and guarantee the consistent provision of monthly bookkeeping and relevant financial statements.
Handle intricate accounts, making certain of punctual delivery of financial analyses and associated tasks.
Champion departmental objectives and promote a spirit of ongoing enhancement within the accounting sector.
Serve as a go-to expert for both the in-house teammates and clients, highlighting profound familiarity with accounting standards and best practices.
Partner with different sectors to pinpoint potential areas for broadening services and seizing growth prospects.
Promptly and adeptly address and settle client inquiries and challenges.
Coach and support staff, ensuring seamless departmental processes.
