Venteon Finance is currently seeking a dynamic ACCOUNTING MANAGER for a long-time client in Oakland County. This is an opportunity to join a very long-standing and tenured team with a stable organization that offers Balance and Flexibility in a collaborative environment.
REQUIREMENTS of the Accounting Manager
Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance
7 10+ years of relevant Accounting experience
3+ years of experience leading and managing teams
Previous public accounting firm experience
CPA Designation highly preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Accounting Manager
Oversee the accounting department s day-to-day functions
Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
Monitor department workflow, evaluate processes, ensure timely and accurate completion
Maintain and enhance internal controls
Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
Assist with cash flow planning and cash management
Provide information to and coordinate scheduling with tax team for tax return preparation
Other duties and projects as assigned
