Corporate Accounting Manager 7+ years of experience

Venteon Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager for a global manufacturing client located in Troy. The Accounting Manager will support to help with the continued development of financial systems, process, and controls.

Requirements of the Corporate Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required. 
• 7-10 years of Accounting Experience.
• Supervisory Experience.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Accounting Manager

• Be an example of and proponent for Principle Based Management within the leveraged capability accounting team
• Build relationships and collaborate with Accounting and Finance resources
• Lead and collaborate on projects to standardize processes
• Provide guidance on treatment for complex accounting topics
• Support month-end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner, ensure compliance with company policies, and meet closing deadlines
• Perform accounting responsibilities in compliance with financial, regulatory, and accounting policies and guidelines
• Apply appropriate internal controls in a changing business transformational environment
• Partner with various stakeholders in tax, consolidations, and finance to provide financial reporting support
• Work with external auditors and support annual audit process
