Accounting Manager/Controller 7+ years of experience

Venteon Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager for a high-volume manufacturing client located in Troy. The Accounting Manager will support to help with the continued development of financial systems, process, and controls.

Requirements of the Accounting Manager/Controller

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required. Master's Degree strongly preferred.
• 7-10 years of Accounting Experience.
• Supervisory Experience.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager/Controller

• Complete a GAAP compliant timely close and produce financial statements and reporting packages.
• Develop/improve/automate the financial infrastructure to be more effective and efficient.
• Accurate and timely process of accounts payables, expense reports, accounts receivables, and cash controls.
• Cash forecasting and management.
• Administrator of accounting software, including report creation and chart of account organization.
• Administrator of corporate banking, credit cards, and utility accounts.
• Prepare for and execute the requirements for annual financial statement audit and tax compliance.
• Work with the CFO and relevant teams to complete annual budgets.
• Help in creating and reporting of companywide KPI s.
• Participate in special projects.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
