Harvard Resource Solutions is hiring a Temporary ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK to provide support for an electrical company located in Warren, MI. You will assist the department in completing basic accounting tasks and supporting a current audit during a busy period.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. Onsite. Open ended Contract. Immediate work!
PAY: $22.00-23.00 per hour based on skills.
Requirements of the Temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk.
High School Diploma. Understanding of accounting principles.
3+ years of work experience in accounting such as entering vendor invoices, pulling/scanning/filing invoices, data entry of accounting information into systems.Credit and Collections knowledge is very helpful.
Technically savvy. Able to learn new software. Accurate data entry skills.
Ability to interview and start right away.
Duties of the Temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk:
Support the company during the transition of work to a new accounting system and shared services work environment.
Monitor the Accounts Receivable inbox. Resolve inquiries by providing information and sending over copies of invoices, statements, etc. Reconcile account balances. Reach out to customers to obtain payments.
Support the Credit department by entering customer terms and limits in the system, obtaining credit references, etc.
Enter vendor AP invoices in the system to be paid.
Scanning, uploading, and filing paper documents into the new system.
Provide support for a sales tax audit by pulling requested documents, files, and supporting backup information.
