2ND SHIFT TOOL & DIE MAKER NEEDED - BUTLER, INDIANA AREA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures
Demonstrates ability to use all hand measurement tools.
Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required
Safely operate all tool room equipment inclusive of Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.
Have abilities to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
Trouble shoot and resolve tooling problems
Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment
Demonstrates ability to read and interpret tooling drawings
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of Die Repair experience. A Journeyman's Card is a plus, but not required
3+ years of Manual Machining experience, build to print mills, lathes, grinders, cranes
In-press troubleshooting experience preferred
Electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic experience preferred
Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job duties (basic hand & pneumatic tools
Self-driven in fast-paced automotive environment, work individually or with a team
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Journeyman s Certification and/or equivalent experience.
