3rd Shift Production Supervisor 

Minimum 3 years of Production Supervision Experience

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located near Lansing, MI. Must have experience with working in a JIT environment 

Requirements of the Production Supervisor 

  • 5-7 years of supervisory experience 
  • SAP Experience 
  • JIT Experience 
  • Ability to work off shift 
  • Ability to work occasional weekends

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor 

  • Supervise hourly personnel
  • Select, train, and develop competent and dedicated employees as well as making sure the employees follow company policies and procedures.
  • Help advise and assist the Superintendent, as well as other upper management by doing periodic reports, attending meetings in order to anticipate problem areas and take corrective action before serious problems develop.
  • Responsible for achieving daily goals.
  • Utilize methods for continuous improvement.
  • Analyzes operations within his/her work area to determine and develop more efficient methods of production, communication and cost improvements.
  • Attend meetings to report on production status and to receive vital information relative to plant performance and his/her specific role in improving that performance.
  • All other duties as assigned.
