Minimum 3 Years experience as a Hot Stamping Technician

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Hot Stamping Technician to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Holland, MI

Requirements of the Hot Stamping Technician

• Post secondary diploma from a technical college is preferred in Robotics, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation.
  Ability to troubleshoot faults and cycle time issues
  Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Plant
  Basic understanding of PLC logic preferred
  Experience working with Fanuc Robots, ovens and presses
  Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks
  Strong problem solving techniques
  Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization

Responsibilities of the Hot Stamping Technician

• Set-up and Teach Robots as required (Fanuc)
  Troubleshoot and adjust robots programs 
  Troubleshoot and manipulate press and ovens via HMI controls
  Changeover of equipment, components and tooling
  Provide support to production in order to ensure a smooth production run: i.e Setup, tool change, problem solving
  Maintain equipment to ensure machines produce quality parts
  Responsible for daily preventative maintenance checks
  Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement activities
  Work in a safe manner at all times. Works in compliance with TS-16949 standards.
  Will be responsible for increasing company profitability and improving employee working conditions by providing manufacturing departments with well-maintained equipment, while ensuring quality and ability to meet production requirements.
  Maintains due diligence in regard to environmental matters, minimize any potentially harmful accidents and work in compliance with ISO-14001. Will follow the environmental guidelines for aspects as outlined in the job training requirements.
