Our client in the Los Angeles area is looking for a Financial Systems Manager (Workday Financials).
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented professional to lead the advancement and support of Workday Financials. This role partners with cross-functional teams to align Workday capabilities with evolving business needs, driving successful system enhancements, data integrity, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with key stakeholders to collect business requirements and translate them into effective plans for configuring, testing, and deploying solutions within Workday Financials.
Spearhead the development and rollout of new system features and financial reports, ensuring system reliability and high user engagement.
Proactively investigate and resolve system issues, safeguarding the accuracy of financial data and operational workflows.
Serve as a subject matter expert, offering clear and actionable insights on Workday Financials to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Evaluate existing systems and workflows to recommend enhancements aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIBs, Web Services, and Cloud Connect to ensure efficient system interoperability.
Manage data synchronization and integrations between Workday and other enterprise platforms.
Design, build, and refine advanced reports and dashboards using tools like Advanced Reporting, Matrix Reports, and Workday Prism Analytics.
Interpret data trends and metrics to support business decisions and long-term planning.
Qualifications:
Deep expertise in Workday Financials; experience with Grants Management is a strong plus.
Demonstrated background in ERP implementation and financial systems, including full-cycle deployments.
Knowledge of Workday HCM modules is a bonus.
Skilled in integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIBs, Workday Web Services, and Cloud Connect.
Proficient in Workday s reporting suite, with hands-on experience in designing complex financial reports and analytics.
Analytical mindset with a knack for solving integration and reporting challenges while ensuring data quality and business relevance.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications are highly desirable.
10+ years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
