VENTEON is hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to provide support for a client in Auburn Hills, MI
PAY RATE: $16.00-$18.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience. Overtime at time and one half.
Hours for 2nd Shift Quality Inspector: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Working Arrangement: In Office
Position: 90-day contract to hire.
Job Description
Conduct quality audits on plastic parts based on specified criteria and record results digitally and manually. Ability to use various types of gauges and measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Primary Responsibilities (may include but not limited to)
Perform audits of all manufacturing activities
Identify and isolate nonconforming products discovered during process audits.
Work with manufacturing personnel and identify cause(s) and implement corrective measures.
Perform receiving inspection activity on incoming material/components.
Set-up and use standard measurement and gauging equipment.
Required Education/Skills/Experience
At least one years of quality experience
Injection molding (plastic) experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret policy documents
Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical functions
This position requires to lift and move 10 50 pounds
These positions often require overtime and working on the weekend.
